Arsenal have reportedly said no to a second and increased offer by Aston Villa for their youngster Emile Smith Rowe. The bid was said to be worth £30 million this attempt.

In a space of a week, Aston Villa have come in with two bids consisting of £25m and £30m for Arsenal talent, Emile Smith Rowe, with the player continuing to delay on a new contract with the North London club.

It is believed that Villa has authorised the departure of playmaker and star player, Jack Grealish – he is set to join Manchester City for a British record-breaking fee of £100m.

Most tabloids are confident the deal will go through hence the Villains eagerness to get a successor deal over the line as soon as possible.

The West Midlands club have been busy this summer and picked up where they left off last summer window, making some big moves for some top talents.

Their best and most expensive summer signing so far is the acquisition of Emiliano Buendia from newly-promoted Norwich City for a club-record fee of £35 million.

He forms part of two new additions at Villa Park – Ashely Young has made a return to his old club following a successful run in Italy with Inter Milan where they were crowned Serie A champions last season. He steps in to add the much-needed experience to help the youngsters coming through at the club.

The Gunners are not entertaining any talks for Emile Smith Rowe

The two bid rejections tell us openly that the Gunners see Emile Smith Rowe as an important figure for the near and long-term future.

Despite a pair of profitable proposals from Villa for a 20-year-old, they are still unwilling to consider any offers. Both offers submitted by Dean Smith’s club are double Rowe’s market value. He is currently worth £15.5m (€18m).

Every player has their price and we’ve seen in the past when the right offer comes in a club normally agrees.

This only means Arsenal values him at a much higher price and are right in doing so, having already witnessed Aston Villa break their club-record fee for a non-Premier League proven player.
