How bad was the fourth-placed team?

Poland finished fourth in Group E with just one point to their name. They started their campaign on a promising note despite a loss against Slovakia.

In their second game, Poland drew level with Spain and earned a point. However, the team failed to find the back of the net in key situations which hurt their chances to qualify for the Round of 16. Their porous defense also contributed to their failure in Euro 2020.

Group E’s Best Player

It is very difficult to name a single player as the best player in Group E. From Sweden, Emil Forsberg and Alexander Isak played exciting football whereas Robert Lewandowski carried the team single-handedly. Marek Hamsik has aged like a fine wine even in the absence of top-flight football in one of Europe’s top five leagues.

However, it is Alexander Isak who was the Best Player from Group E. The great dribbler of the ball, Alexander Isak accounts for 4.8 successful dribbles per 90 with a success rate of 80%. The player ran riot on the pitch and kept the opposition busy with his runs.
