Achraf Hakimi leaving Inter after just one season has become a top topic and it appears that there is a two-horse race for the full-back – Chelsea and PSG become his most likely suitors.

“The only one who is going to leave Inter, for now, is Hakimi, who I also represent. [With Lautaro Martinez] there is still no clear situation. He [Hakimi] is going.” – Alejandro Camaño, Hakimi’s agent, via AS.

It is rare for a club that has won a major championship recently to part ways with one of its key players.

Yet, Inter Milan finds itself in a situation that is unprecedented and can spiral into something truly disastrous.

Financial difficulties have plagued the club in recent times which, in turn, resulted in the departure of their Scudetto-winning coach Antonio Conte.

The club has to sell some of its key players to balance the books, with Hakimi being singled out as a major sale. Enter Chelsea.
