Tottenham Hotspur –  – representatives at Euro 2020

  1. Hugo Lloris – France
  2. Moussa Sissoko – France
  3. Harry Kane – England
  4. Toby Alderweireld – Belgium
  5. Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg – Denmark
  6. Gareth Bale – Wales
  7. Ben Davies – Wales
  8. Joe Rodon – Wales

Strangely, the top-six team that was one of the most underwhelming performers, only doing better than their neighbouring rivals Arsenal, has two captains of countries regarded as favourites – that will be Harry Kane and Hugo Lloris.

The former being with England who are not strong favourites but one country that is regarded as a powerhouse and are just known as choke artists. Then you have the latter, France, they are heavy favourites and are expected to go all the way, despite being in the group of death.

They have a third and final captain, Gareth Bale. The man from Wales, a team not respected as a tournament top pick. But how does a team with such talent and leadership still end outside of the top four in the Premier League standings? Mental stuff, I tell you!
