Thibaut Courtois/Belgium – €60M

Courtois has established himself as one of the best keepers in the world in the past years. He has been key for Real Madrid in their success in recent times and has actually saved them a lot of points with some unbelievable saves, stops, and blocks.

He is tied with Gianluigi Donnarumma from Italy as the most expensive keeper at the tournament but we decided to go with the Belgian.

Courtois will be key for his team where they are grouped with Denmark, Finland, and Russia, in Group B. Courtois is a solid contender for the Golden Glove this Euro 2020.

Marcos Llorente/ Spain – €80M

Marcos Llorente played the whole season with Atletico de Madrid as a midfielder but Luis Enrique has already shown some interest in playing him in the right-back position for the tournament. He indeed has already played one game in this position in a friendly against Portugal and he was easily Spain’s best player for that game.

Llorente’s quality on the ball, coupled with his speed, will help Spain tremendously in a defense that doesn’t look very sturdy. Some would say that his price tag is very high since he has only shown an outstanding level for one season with Atleti but, I think he would show the world he’s worth this price once Euro 2020 gets underway.

Ruben Días/ Portugal – €75M

It’s no surprise to see the Portuguese player on this list. He was the English Premier League’s Player of the Season, being the talisman in defense for Manchester City’s champions squad.

He’s an unbelievable center-back who changed the Citizens’ odds in the EPL and he’s looking to do the same with Portugal who are in the “Group of Death”, Group F, where they will face France, Germany, and Hungary.

Matthijs de Ligt/ Netherlands – €75M

De Ligt who comes from an underwhelming campaign with Juventus would try to improve his form at Euros with the Netherlands. He’s clearly one of the more important players for both his club and country but sadly, Juventus had a disastrous year which affected the player somehow.

There are strong rumors that De Ligt could leave Juve this summer and the main candidates for his signature are Barcelona, who have been after him since his days at Ajax. A good performance in this tournament can earn him a spot in one of the most important clubs in the world like Barca.

Andrew Robertson/ Scotland – €65M

Scotland’s captain, Andrew Robertson, would have a tough challenge this tournament where he needs to help his country get past a group with England, Croatia, and the Czech Republic, Group D.

The Liverpool left-back is going to play against some of his teammates in this tournament and even though the Reds weren’t great this year, Robertson kept playing at an outstanding level which would surely carry on into Euro 2020.
