What is England’s best XI for Euro 2020 – Who joins Harry Kane in the lineup?
RW – Jadon Sancho
The former Manchester City amassed 16 goals and 20 assists in 38 matches across all competitions.
While those numbers may not tell you the whole story, Sancho ended up with some brilliant performances for Borussia Dortmund after a shaky start.
All English Premier League
He will undoubtedly start for England as a right-winger in the Euros and will be expected to put in a good performance. Raheem Sterling hasn’t been at his very best so he will most likely come on as a substitute.
CF – Harry Kane
England’s captain and their best player will be one of the players to look out for in the Euros and his suitors will have their eyes on him during the tournament.
After winning the Golden Boot in the World Cup, Kane is among the favorites to bag the award this summer as well. A lot of England’s hopes will be pinned on the Spurs man and he will be looking to live up to his high standards.
LW – Phil Foden
Now, this is a really tricky one as there are two top contenders in Foden and Jack Grealish. The latter put in an impressive display in the friendly against Romania and had a pretty good season with Aston Villa.
However, Foden has just been fantastic for City and is on the pathway to becoming a world-class player. He might just get the nod ahead of Grealish but don’t be surprised if it’s the other way round.
Besides, Foden might even start in midfield if Henderson is not fit. This could give Grealish a good opportunity to start.
