Renato Tapia – Perú

Probably the best player that Perú has for this tournament. He has experience in teams like Feyenoord and Celta de Vigo (actual club).

Even though he’s only 25 years old, he has played 53 games for Perú’s national team already. He is a very strong defensive midfielder who was very consistent for Celta de Vigo this season.

By being one of Perú’s best options in this tournament I think he’s going to shine and draw attention from many clubs around the world after the tournament.

Tapia is a midfielder that likes to bring balance to a team and after a really good season with Celta and a possibly good performance in the Copa America, the Peruvian could go to a bigger team like Everton, Atalanta, or even Atletico de Madrid.

Diego Simeone has already spoken good things about the player and stated that he’s a magnificent midfielder.

Perú’s run in the tournament might be short but Tapia’s performance could be a factor in their progress.
