Manchester United target Norwich City’s Max Aarons

Max Aarons is an attacking full-back known for his ability to create from the right flank. We know the player for his marauding runs forward from the defensive half, using his attributes such as his pace and agility.

The player accounted for 1.4 key passes per game in the EFL Championship. Aarons played a huge role in Norwich City’s immediate promotion to the English Premier League.

He has an advantage over Aaron Wan Bissaka in ball-striking technique. The player has a low-back lift and this helps him find the back of the net easily. His ability to arrive late at the back-post can open up plenty of spaces for attackers in the opposition box.

"Matches Played: 45 Goals scored: 2 Assists:2  (5 according to transfermarkt) (Stats via fbref)"

Though Aarons is a front-footed defender, his defensive numbers are poor compared to others in his position. He has 0.7 tackles per game and 0.9 interceptions per game in the Championship. Also, the player is less known for his aerial capabilities.

Manchester United are looking for a right-back who can offer stiff competition for Aaron Wan Bissaka. Max Aarons has his age as an advantage whereas Kieran Trippier has PL experience to his.

Although, both players will add quality to the Red Devils’ backline if they do bring any of them to Old Trafford.
