GROUP C – NETHERLANDS

The Netherlands made it to their 10th European championship by finishing second in their qualifying group behind Germany.

The Oranje’s best result in the Euros came in 1988 when they won the tournament in Germany, beating the Soviet Union in the final. Marco van Basten was the star of the competition, netting five goals including his famous volley in the final.
