Matheus Pereira – West Brom

As mentioned earlier in this article, West Brom only had 5 wins during the whole season which gave them a 19th-place finish.

Matheus Pereira showed all season long that he can be a Premier League giant and he can maybe become one of the key players for a top team. He scored 11 goals, assists 6, and created 103 opportunities on goal.

It was a very good league showing for Pereira who is now very unlikely to stay at West Brom in the Championship next season.

It is a shame that after such numbers from the Brazilian, it wasn’t enough to save his team from relegation.

Also, he was the player with the 4th-most through balls in the EPL with 11, and the 3rd-most nutmegs in the EPL with 9.
