This Premier League season has brought many surprises and a lot of amazing performances. Sadly the lot in this write-up, Southampton, Brighton, and Burnley, found life in the Premier League tough.

Of the trio, Saints can brag they were at least on top of the table for a short period, a very short period. But if you look at it from another angle, how does one go from first place to 15th place?

With both the Seagulls and the Clarets, they struggled and fought till the end for a chance to stay up in the Premier League. Thankfully, three teams were far from top-flight standards and rightfully were demoted.

From one of the strangest Premier League seasons, we have gone ahead and selected the best-performing player from each team and state why the individual is being named the MVP of their respective club.

Here we look at Southampton, Brighton, and Burnley’s MVPs for the season. These players could and would likely be on their way out of their respective clubs, as they performed above the rest of the team and deserve a move to a “bigger” club.
