Manchester United’s Edinson Cavani vs Villarreal’s Pau Torres

There’s going to be a very similar battle on the other end as well.

Pau Torres has been developing really quickly and is now a player that most of the top clubs want to buy. He’s had an amazing season with Villarreal. He’s excellent on the ball and dominating in the air. He’s a strong guy who doesn’t mind some physicality.

But, the guy he’s going against has proved time and time again that he was one of Europe’s best for a while. Yes, Cavani is 35 now, but that really doesn’t matter right now. He has been in great form ever since he started playing regularly for Manchester United, and especially as of late.

Cavani has scored many goals that have brought Manchester United out of tough and losing situations.

In the Europa League, he has scored five goals and assisted two in just four appearances. He came up with four of those goals in Manchester United’s brilliantly entertaining semi-final tie vs Roma.

This would be a really fun duel to watch. Both players are in top form. Both players want to win the trophy. Both players — although in different stages of their career — are equally hungry to win games.

This is one of the biggest games in club football. Surely, that will help them elevate their game even more.
