Manchester United RW/RM Marcus Rashford

Marcus Rashford is still pretty much the best winger available out of the two teams. He hasn’t had the most consistent of seasons but he hasn’t been bad by any means. He’s still had a good season, contributing to 22 goals in the Premier League.

That’s why you consider him over other wingers. None of Moi Gomez, Samuel Chuckwueze come close.

Manchester United LM/LW Paul Pogba

Paul Pogba has had many ups and downs during his time at Manchester United. He has been criticized and has also been shown love many times. But ever since he has been given a slight shift of roles, Pogba has been great.

He now operates as a wide No. 8 (which is why he has been included in the attack and not the midfield) that has the freedom to move to different areas of the pitch when the team has the ball. We already know how creative he is, and how good he has been since then. So, for that reason, he gets the nod.

Villarreal Striker Gerard Moreno

This was a tough one. Edinson Cavani has been in fantastic form since he has started playing for Manchester United on a regular basis. He has scored 10 goals, and has been really good. He benched Anthony Martial, and earned himself a rightful contract extension.

But, Gerard Moreno — at least this season — has just been doing it for long and so consistently, and with lesser support. 29 goals and 12 assists in all competitions in 43 appearances. You just can’t ignore that.

I know I mentioned Manchester United having more quality than Villarreal in most positions, but the striker position isn’t one of them — at least based on this season.
