Nothing to keep Harry Kane interested in staying

Despite suffering from defeat yet again, it has been a normal and productive campaign for Harry Kane – both he and Mohamed Salah are joint first and leads the race for the Premier League Golden Boot.

Added to his prolific number of 22 goals for the season, Kane leads the Premier League in assists as well, with 13 assists provided in a turbulent run.

That means, of the club’s 64 goals for the PL term, the striker has been involved in 35 of them. That’s a goal involved of 54.69% for the Englishman.

To produce these numbers almost every season and to still not have a major trophy in the cabinet, is a cause for concern and reason enough for one of the best number 9’s in Europe to leave the North London club.

Following the termination of ex-boss Jose Mourinho, nothing has really developed strongly enough about a replacement of the same quality or, better quality than Jose for the season ahead and beyond – this cannot be encouraging for Kane.

This, coupled with the fact nothing has improved drastically under the stewardship of Ryan Mason, gives little to convince him a stay would be in his best interest.

After Wednesday night’s lap of honour while applauding the fans, even though they lost, the question is what will Harry Kane be sold for in the summer.
