Ever since Arsene Wenger left Arsenal, the Emirates outfit has failed to impress and have finished outside of the top four every season following his exit.

The Gunners have not featured in the UEFA Champions League since 2016/17. Their recent loss against Villareal in the Europa League semifinals has closed the final avenue to Champions League football for next season.

Despite an eighth-place finish in 2019/20, Arsenal were able to book their seats in Europe thanks to their FA Cup triumph.

In the ongoing season, they are not only sitting in ninth place in the table standings but are also out of all the competitions that could have helped them secure a European spot for another season.

Tottenham Hotspur, the sixth-placed team, are seven points clear of Arsenal with four games to go. Their neighbors are in a dire situation ahead of the business end of the season.

Rumors suggest that the North London outfit is looking to sack Mikel Arteta and appoint a new gaffer, as it is just not working out for the Spaniard.

Massimiliano Allegri or Maurizio Sarri are being tipped to be the next managers of Arsenal. However, for any new manager, it is difficult to manage the Emirates outfit.
