Why would Robert Lewandowski be looking to leave Bayern Munich?

One possibility for Lewandowski looking to leave Bayern is that he’s basically won everything he could possibly hope to win in the Bundesliga.

While in Germany he has won the Bundesliga title 7 times, the DFB-Pokal 3 times, the DFL Supercup 4 times, and the UEFA Champions League 1 time.

On top of that, he has won the Bundesliga golden boot award 5 times in total. It’s entirely possible that at the age of 32 he could be looking for a change of scenery and to try to make his mark in another country.

Another possibility for Robert Lewandowski’s departure is his contract situation. There have been a few rumors that he is looking for a mega-deal and Bayern Munich may be wary of giving that to a 32-year-old, even if he is still one of the best in the world.

Although it is unlikely that Bayern Munich would want to sell, it is possible that Lewandowski could decide to force their hand if he so chooses.
