Can Manchester City be the next “Kings of the world”?

The Citizens have always been brilliant in attack and they have had one of the best managers in history for many years at the helm.

Now, Guardiola has what he needed and what he was missing for so long, a big improvement in the defense which could lead the team to be the next Kings of football.

After huge disappointment and a lot of negative criticism in his first season in 2016, because he finished in third in the EPL standings and got disqualified in the round of 16 in the Champions League, Guardiola is finally reaping maximum rewards with this City squad and if you look at it, it’s only just begun.

He is playing without a striker and the Citizens are the highest scorers in the Premier League with 71 goals.

Brilliant performances from Gundogan, Mahrez, Foden, and most of the team playing at an outstanding level have helped achieved these amazing numbers.

I think that if Ruben Dias and Stones keep at this level, Manchester City could be the best team in the world and this pair could become the best center-back duo in the world for many years to come.

Sergio Ramos and Raphael Varane from Real Madrid have been the best center-back pairing for many years, but honestly, Dias and Stones are just as amazing on the field, and watching them play is pure joy.

Could Guardiola keep taking advantage of this duo and make Manchester City the best team in the world for many years to come? Leave your thoughts in the comments.
