Raheem Sterling has been considered one of the best wingers in the world since moving to Manchester City.

Last season he had his best scoring season in his career. He scored 31 goals across all competitions and he displayed a level of soccer that was outstanding.

This season, however, the English forward has not been much in Guardiola’s plan. Sterling has played 34 games this term, scoring only 13 goals.

The performances of Phil Foden and Riyad Mahrez can be a key factor to why Guardiola is not playing Sterling regular.

He was not a part of Wednesday’s Champions League win over PSG, which was a very important game for the Cityzens.
