Liverpool captain Jordan Henderson leads the way

Jordan Henderson showing that being a club captain and true professional in the game is about more than just leading your team on the pitch to victory or gaining a piece of silverware.

He has shown that proper conduct off the pitch is just as important. He has too, demonstrated that he and the rest of the Red army at Anfield are about the fans, the city, and the sports we hold dear to our hearts.

The tweet below is what Henderson was the first to post on social media and thereafter the rest of the Liverpool squad members followed suit.

Henderson’s tweet reads loud and proud:

"We don’t like it and we don’t want it to happen. This is our collective position. Our commitment to this football club and its supporters is absolute and unconditional. You’ll Never Walk Alone."

It has been a long time since the fans felt a part of the game due to the ongoing global pandemic. This has brought back so many emotions and feelings of belonging and worth.

As a fan, a Liverpool fan, this makes me proud to call myself a Red. This the type of content that makes you fall in love with the club you support. Heck, if this was a rival club I’d probably fall in love with them too.
