If you are a Liverpool lover, you are loving your players to the moon and back right now following their reaction to the announcement of the European Super League.

The ripple effect caused by Sunday’s announcement of the potential and proposed elite league has created a backlash the founding members were not ready for – although they believed they were.

Every day since the breaking news of the ESL surfaced there has been a new twist and turn in the football world. Some clubs that were part of the 12 founding teams have already taken a step back and are reassessing the situation.

One club has already pulled out of the tournament altogether – that club being Manchester City and it is being said more will follow. They were the first English Premier League club to pull out of the proposed move.

Another club, all the players have made a powerful statement, showing one voice and the same view in a copied and pasted tweet.

Yes, there have been many players who have come out and shared their opinions but none like this, where an entire team has come out and spoken against its own owners in such dramatic fashion.

It’s one thing to say you against it but to show it to the world is another thing. We all know that in most cases, actions speak louder than words. In this very instant that is exactly what was required.
