Manchester United and all the European giants have been regularly linked with a move for arguably the best young forward in the game, Erling Haaland.

There has been a lot of gaga over Manchester United’s summer transfer window. The club is precariously placed second in the Premier League standings and have secured their spot in the quarterfinals of the Europa League.

However, the club and its manager are facing a lot of criticism because of their inability to score in crucial games and knockout fixtures. They have come short in all of the domestic competitions because they failed to bury their allotted chances.

This could even be said for the Champions League game against Paris St Germain. Anthony Martial’s incompetence in front of goal saw him miss easy sitters which cost United the game.

There is a demand to sign Erling Braut Haaland

There is a demand to sign a young and prolific striker and Erling Braut Haaland seems to be one of the potential players to fill the No.9 role at Old Trafford.

The 6′ 3″ towering striker has caught the attention of the Red Devils and other European giants owing to his prolific striking performance. The 20-year-old has scored 21 goals in the Bundesliga before heading to the international break.

He is the joint-second highest goalscorer in the German top flight with only Robert Lewandowski ahead of him. With the last part of the season left to be played, there is no doubt that the player will reach 30.

The stats are staggering and the fans are right in demanding their club to sign the former Molde striker.

Manchester United tried to wrap up a deal for the player in the previous summer but the club couldn’t reach an agreement with the player because of the release clause.

However, with multiple players firing blanks at Stretford End, Ed Woodward has turned his attention towards signing the player.
