Are Manchester United heading in the right direction under Ole?

The academy lads have shined on the big stage under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer
Ever since his appointment in December 2018, Solskjaer has tried to improve things and has handled certain situations better compared to his predecessors.
He believed in Paul Pogba and Anthony Martial, allowing them to prove their worth. The belief in Anthony Martial produced results in the 2019/20 season as the forward finished the campaign with 23 G/A in the Premier League.
Martial, alone, carried the team in the absence of Marcus Rashford. Ole also signed playmaker Bruno Fernandes from Sporting, who is leading the team towards new heights without the armband.
Every football fan across the world knows that Manchester United breeds amazing academy players. Under Mourinho, the academy players were starved and could hardly break into the first team.
Only six players were handed their senior debuts under Jose compared to Louis van Gaal’s 15 and Ole’s 13. Of the six players, only Scott McTominay is a regular in Solskjaer’s setup. However, the Norweigan has given the academy players a great run to prove themselves.
Amongst the debutants, Mason Greenwood, Brandon Williams and Dean Henderson are becoming regulars for the team whereas others are proving themselves abroad on loan. The “La Carrington” is slowly returning to its good old days.
