Without a doubt, the toughest matchup on their upcoming schedule is the one against Manchester United.

United has been flying this season under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, and with Bruno Fernandes constantly churning out brilliant performances week in and week out, it doesn’t seem like many teams can stop United at the moment.

Following a disappointing FA Cup exit to Southampton, Arsenal showed how much of a difference there was between the first and second teams.

The second team could not get anything going against the Saints and were defensively poor in the first half leading to the goal that knocked them out of the competition. Luckily for Arsenal, it’ll be their first team out on the field when they face United.

United have not lost a league match since their last meeting against Arsenal, and as much as I want to say it’s possible Arsenal could pull off an upset at home, it’s a tough ask, especially with Aubameyang still out due to personal reasons.

Arsenal will need to continue to press high in their attack and put pressure on United’s defense because United will get their chances in this game, and Arsenal will need to keep up.

This rivalry never loses its juice and I don’t expect the Gunners to go down easily at home, especially with the potential debut from a certain Norwegian wonderkid possibly on the cards.

Prediction: Arsenal 1-1 United
