Mauro Icardi – Ligue 1 (Paris Saint-Germain)

npxG+xA: +1.57| Market Value: €60m | Transfer Fee: €50m

Marco Icardi signed to PSG this summer for €50.m, even though his market value is listed between €50m–€60m.

The Argentinian striker suffered a minor knee injury this season, which kept him sidelined for over half of his team’s games.

However, in the eight games, Icardi has been fit to play, he has been the club’s biggest goal threat. Icardi has the team’s highest npxG+xA rating at 1.57, surpassing Mbappe and Neymar, who have a rating of 1.14 and 1.08.

Leroy Sane – Bundesliga ( Bayern Munich)

npxG+xA: +0.71| Market Value: €80m | Transfer Fee: €45m

Many have given Leroy Sane slack for his play in the Bundesliga this season, but he has Bayern Munich’s second-highest npxG+xA, behind Robert Lewandowski, with a rating of .71. Lewandowski is listed at a rating of .84.

The German native remains Bayerns best replacement for Aren Robben due to his speed and technical ability with his left foot.

On top of that, the club was able to sign him for €45m, nearly half of his market value, making him the top offensive signing in the Bundesliga this summer.
