It is Middlesbrough’s fourth season in succession in the second-tier. Since their relegation in 2016/17, the club has failed to make it to the Premier League again.

However, they might make it this time after they find themselves in seventh place, behind sixth-placed Watford.

Middlesbrough has the joint second-best defensive record in the Championship this season and credit goes to Neil Warnock’s tactics and Dael Fry’s rock-solid performance at the back.

The right-footed central defender has been a rock at the heart of Warnock’s defense. Standing tall at 6’4”, Fry has accumulated great numbers in 18 starts for Boro.

The likes of West Brom, Leeds United, and Crystal Palace have struggled to contain opposition from scoring goals. The 23-year-old is a good reader of the game and has 42 interceptions to his name.

Should the player wait for Boro’s promotion or should he make the move to the top flight? The player has every trick in the bag which an EPL manager demands in the top flight.
