2) Burnley

A poor transfer window at the start of the season for Sean Dyche has resulted in a string of poor performances for Burnley.

The club spent only €1.1 million in the summer transfer window, having only signed Dale Stephens from Brighton. The midfielder has failed to impress with his displays in the middle of the park.

The Clarets have just five points from nine games in the top flight and have only one victory to their name. They registered a win against Crystal Palace two weeks ago which gave them a glimmer of hope.

Worryingly, the thrashing at the Etihad was a brute realization that the club has things to ponder on as the season progresses. Also, the takeover talks have really affected the club and one can expect it to go this way till the final day of the season.

3) West Bromwich Albion

The Baggies were promoted to the top flight after they managed to finish second in the EFL Championship.

Despite strengthening their squad by spending a total of €40.45 in the transfer market, the club has found it difficult to adjust to the top flight. West Brom finds themselves in 18th, with seven points in 10 games and a negative goal difference to their name.

Slaven Bilic’s men are guilty of not taking their chances. In recent games against Manchester United and Tottenham, the club failed to capitalize on situations after imposing loads of pressure on their opposition.

The team had the game in their hands against Chelsea when they were three ahead at halftime. The team conceded three goals and settled for a point in that game. Their recent scrappy victory against Sheffield should act as a boost going into their next games as it was their first win of the campaign.

The players have to become a lot more clinical in front of goal against Palace, who lost their previous game against Newcastle in GW10.
