Harry Maguire has taken to social media, aiming a subtle dig at Frank Lampard during their goalless draw at Old Trafford.

Manchester United played out a dull draw against Chelsea at Old Trafford in the Premier League where none of the teams were able to break the deadlock.

What was exciting though, the game saw the debut of Man United’s new signing, Edinson Cavani just after the hour mark. The player almost made the difference with his first touch of the game but the ball just ruffled the outside of the net.

The other moment that stood out and overshading the result was the penalty shout and probably one of the most controversial calls of the weekend. The incident happened in the first half around the 40th minute. The London based outfit was awarded a free-kick.

While defending the ball, Harry Maguire had his hands around Cesar Azpilicueta, which seemed like a headlock. Both the match official and VAR found nothing wrong with the contest in the box.

After the final whistle was blown, Chelsea’s manager Frank Lampard expressed how unhappy he was with the refereeing in his post-match press conferences. Lampard was particularly unhappy about the headlock incident that happened between the Red Devils’ skipper and the Blues’ skipper.
