Regarding the Sergio Reguilon’s transfer, the club was leading the race to sign the left-back until Tottenham intervened at the last moment.

Spurs not only accepted Real Madrid’s £27 million valuation, but also the buy-back clause for the player.

The transfer will be nothing but a “glorified loan deal”. We do not expect Man United to serve as a stepping stone for any player wanting to develop further.

Gareth Bale was considered as a last-ditch solution incase Sancho failed, but the bale deal was also hijacked by the North London side.

Tottenham are expected to reveal the player sometime over the weekend who was brought in on a loan deal by Daniel Levy. The club has shelled out around £20 million to acquire the services of their former winger.
