Just when they thought they were out, they get pulled back in!

Last season didn’t end all that long ago, and yet here we are under a week out from the new Fantasy Premier League season! It’s going to be an interesting season as we face the new normal of no fans (or maybe some fans on a trial basis).

Included in the new norm, reduced schedule times as they try to squeeze a whole season into a smaller window and there’s the looming shadow of COVID which could remove players from contention in a heartbeat (see Soucek and maybe Foden/Greenwood).

We’ve done the top 4 here, the teams that finished in 5th-8th here, 9th to 12th here and the rest of the surviving teams here. Finally, we’re going to look at the Premier League new boys!

While we here, don’t forget to sign up to the Top Flight mini league to prove your FPL credentials! Use the code v2xfkj or click here.

Keep an eye out for the final preview “draft” coming over the next week, plus a replacement for the Tortoise and the Hare experiment I ran last year!

Fixtures

A reminder of my own personal fixture rankings – I use goals scored/conceded split home and away to rank the difficulty of fixtures instead of the FPL’s seemingly arbitrary 1-5 rankings (that doesn’t even use 1!).

The last of the lot who have the biggest points to prove. Three re-entries, two not spending too much time away from English top-flight football.

The other, a long haul to meet the great feat once again. Previewing the three promoted clubs.
