PFA announced the Premier League Team of the Season – Happy with the picks?
Was it a tough pick for the PFA Premier League Team of the Season with one team totally dominating for almost the entire campaign? Nope!
Firstly, CONGRATULATIONS are in order for all those who have made the cut in one of the weirdest and longest seasons in Premier League history. A season with a lot of change as we witnessed a club outside of London and Manchester take the English crown this season.
The first time since Leicester won the EPL back in 2016. Thanks to a none contested showing last season five Reds made the best XI and there is actually no debating it. Their performances over 38 games was an outstanding team effort and unmatched by any team in the league.
An 18-point gap between them and second-best Man City proved enough and showcases how far Liverpool was ahead of their English counterparts. Adding to the no-contest, the individual award winners were a perfect choice, after all of them played a major role in the success of the club last run out.

Review:
Extremely fitting that David Silva made the Best XI and shows the quality of him while on the other end of 30 years old. The biggest surprise but by no means a bad pick is Leicester City defender, Caglar Soyuncu.
What a talent and what a maiden Premier League campaign. Top clubs will eventually come knocking at the King Power enquiring about his services in the near future.
The individual awards were spot on for a change and there really weren’t any others performing at these footballers’ levels.
