Why the club should sign the Real Madrid fullback?

Since the signing of Donny van de Beek from Ajax, the manager’s transfer policy has become more clear. The boss wants more competition in the squad which can enhance the performance of each player in their respective positions.

If the Madrid fullback made the switch it would allow Brandon Williams to shift back to his natural right-back position where he can potentially be the best cover for Aaron Wan Bissaka. AWB worked hard for the club last run out and featured in most of the games.

Williams can ply his trade on the right, relieving AWB of his duties. The only player threatened by the potential signing of Reguilon is Diogo Dalot, who is already a fringe player at Manchester United.

The club’s priority should be the signing of a natural right-winger, who can be a threat to opposition teams. There is no err in signing reinforcements but since the departure of legendary players like Nani, the club has struggled to find a right-winger. If the player is available at the right price, United should take the player.
