Chelsea: Bye-bye Kepa Arrizabalaga – It was only a matter of time
Chelsea’s board are said to be working hard on a couple of deals before they call a stop to their business in the transfer window.
It is believed Chelsea have stolen another Liverpool transfer target in a bid to patch up the goal-hole left by Kepa. An agreement with Trabzonspor has been reached to sign 24-year-old, Ugurcan Cakir for a fee said to be £30 million (€33m).

If this is true, it doesn’t matter at all that Arrizabalaga is ready to take a pay cut in his salary to stay at the London club. It would take a major shift if Chelsea were to find him and move Caballero on because of his age (38 years old).
The Spanish must accept he will be the second choice and fighting for his place if/when the deal goes through for Cakir. Do this and he will restore some respect with the fans and the manager, who he needs to impress but couldn’t over 44 games.
