Fantasy Premier League GW38 Preview – The Final Curtain
Strikers
Harry Kane (10.9m, Crystal Palace at home)
Kane loves a few goals late on in the season. Maybe I’ve missed the rush with back-to-back braces, but hopefully, he has a few more in him.
Spurs will also be in the hunt for a Europa League spot and will leapfrog Wolves into 6th if Chelsea gets their win. Kane is the main man and even though he’s not in the running for the golden boot he doesn’t need much motivation to bag a few goals.
Danny Ings (7.6m, Sheffield United at home)
Speaking of the race for the Golden Boot, Ings is a couple of goals behind, but I think he’ll be looking for a late charge to overtake Vardy. Sheffield United are usually strong defensively but haven’t been great in the last few weeks and could give Ings a few chances to catch up with Vardy.
Subs
I’ve gone for cheap and cheerful on the bench, with hopefully no need for any autosubs!
David Martin (3.9m, Aston Villa at home) cheapest goalkeeper available and won’t be needed barring a late injury for Pope!
Tariq Lamptey (4.1m, Burnley away) plays most games for Brighton and I bought him in at just 4.0m.
Brandon Williams (3.8m, Leicester away) the cheapest defender I could find for my 3rd bench spot! Definitely won’t be needed.
Aaron Connolly (4.2m, Burnley away) one of the cheapest strikers with potential for a few minutes if needed. Hopefully, he won’t be!
