Matchday 35 was one to remember. A Jose Mourinho North London victory, a Burnley irritation, and a Cherries’ surprise in the middle of it all.

The Premier League is on the final corner, entering the straight and nearing the end of the final lap. The white flag has long since been waved and now we await the signal of the famous checkered flag.

It has been a rapid restart since the EPL swung the green flag for Project Restart, indicating all systems are a go. After almost five weeks of action and the dust is still far from settling in England. It is only the very lost spot and the very first spot that has been determined.

first was the latter, Liverpool crowned the kings of England. There was never a doubt when the song on repeat was “we going to win the league” and they were unbeaten, 20 some points ahead of the rest of the pack.

The former lost their battle recently. In all honesty, no fight was put up as Norwich lost every game since the restart, showing no late historic turn of events. In fact, the Canneries only survived so long with a chance because the rest of the league was either poor or not Liverpool.

To date, Norwich has only won five Premier League games. The rest, six draws and 24 losses. They, hands down, deserve to be demoted. The other fight stealing all the attention is the fight for Champions League football.
