2. Nathan Ake – AFC Bournemouth

Nathan Ake has shone like a lone star in a depleting AFC Bournemouth side. The Netherlands international moved to Eddie Howe’s side in the 2017 summer transfer window from Chelsea for a reported fee of £21 million (€22.8m) and has lived up to the hype.

Eddie Howe’s Cherries might have looked dull but Nathan Ake has had some brilliant moments in his time at the club. He has worn the captain’s armband and has appeared 28 times for the Cherries this term.

The 25-year-old central defender has 32 interceptions which count for more than one key interception per game. Also, he averages 1.1 tackles per game apart from close to five clearances per game. Nathan Ake is versatile enough to play across the defense line and has great pace to recover easily.

With great vision to block attacks and mostly good awareness with lots of room to improve, Nathan Ake can be a decent addition to any of the top-six sides. Manchester United manager, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, was found saying;

"“We need a left-footed center-back. Keep going” Has Ole Gunnar Solskjaer accidentally revealed his plan to target Nathan Ake for Man Utd?  (Via: @TeleFootball)"

After the Bournemouth game. With Red Devils looking to clear out a few defenders, Nathan Ake can fill the void left by the departures. Chelsea is also said to be in for their ex-player.
