The Premier League relegation battle is going down to the wire this term. For Norwich, there is that small glimpse of hope.
The time is ticking away for every relegation-threatened side. Six games are left for each of the 20 sides in the Premier League with every club having certain motives to achieve by the end of the 2019/20 campaign.
In the Premier League, the race for top-four is more exciting, as the title race was done and dusted by the end of 2019. On the other hand, the relegation battle is equally exciting with Norwich City, Bournemouth, Watford, and Aston Villa fighting to stay up in the league.
Daniel Farke’s men got promoted at the start of the season to the top flight following a great season in the second-tier but they find themselves fighting for survival at the fag end of the campaign. Though it seems quite improbable for the Canaries to stay up, if they do, it will be considered as a Houdini Escape.
When the PL restarted after the pandemic halt, Norwich City succumbed to defeat against Southampton. The club has won only once in their past six games across all the competitions, which makes it more difficult for anyone to believe in them.
However, the performances against Manchester United in the FA Cup game and moments of brilliance against Arsenal in the Premier League are positive signs for the Canaries.
