Jurgen Klopp delivers in full, the Premier League title to all of those waiting 30 years in Liverpool.

Jurgen Klopp stated in a press conference in 2015 that he would win a title within four years. It reigned true when he brought home the Champions League trophy last season. Unfortunately, it was the title Liverpudlians was used to already and not the title they really wanted.

When Klopp joined the Reds back in 2015, most fans did not know what to expect. They knew he was a great manager after being successful with Borussia Dortmund, but some questions probably crossed their minds, like what style of play would he incorporate? Who will he buy? Who will he sell? Will he make a difference?

The German Manager built the team around the Gegenpressing philosophy, high paced players that need to play multiple positions while having loads of stamina for closing down opponents quickly in their own half. Defending from the front.

The first season Klopp had to assess and observe the players he had. Although Liverpool finished 8th in the 2015/2016 season, they reached the final in the Europa League, where they lost to Sevilla. They also reached the final of the Carabao Cup final, eventually losing to Manchester City.

It was then that the Reds fans started hailing Klopp and his vision and the saying became apparent, “In Klopp we trust”.
