Chelsea: Let’s Meet the New Guy, His Name is Hakim Ziyech

On February 14, 2020, Ajax announced Ziyech will be moving to Chelsea in the summer transfer window. He was sold for an amount in the range of €40 to €44 million. Ziyech will officially join the Blues on July 1st and will likely make his debut in the Champions League in August.
International Career
Hakim Ziyech represented the Netherlands through his youth days and made his international senior debut with them as well. After playing a couple of friendlies for the Netherlands, he decided to represent Morocco instead.
Ziyech made a decision to represent Morocco based on what his heart told him was best, not based on potential success. Hakim Ziyech, unfortunately, was not selected to play in the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations. A year later, he made the final roster for the 2018 World Cup.
