Man City planning on stealing Jadon Sancho back from Dortmund
Man United must worry their most prominent target might take the trip over the bridge to Man City if they don’t tie up affairs soon.
The Old Trafford side could be in jeopardy of losing their most valued transfer target to their neighbours, Manchester City. The Citizens have now thrown their names into the hat and become the latest contenders for the player’s signature.
For months there have been links between Man United and Sancho, with Man City’s name popping up on a few occasions. The other teams mentioned vividly with the player are rivals, Liverpool and Chelsea. However, the narrative was changing its body of text from who to how long before he is named a United player.
But after all the flirting things are looking shady. The Borussia Dortmund chief, Sebastian Kehl, changed his tune, admitting the club was far from ready to let go of him and the possibility of a stay is more on than off.

The BVB boss sounded firm and followed up with a set price of £115 million slapped on the Englishman’s back. The mention of Man United has faded with the talks stuck at the same spot. He wants to join United and United will make him a priority. Nothing has progressed from the talks and looks to be dead.

In steps their neighbours, Man City
The club he left, so that he could go and enjoy regular first-team action in Germany, now wants to take him back. Pep Guardiola was at the club at the time, having just been appointed as the manager of the Citizens, the year before in 2016.
There was no breaking through into a side filled with Pep’s handpicked stars. Sancho was left for the bench at best, opting to leave. He couldn’t have made a better choice in his playing career. Subsequently, the player turned himself into the most wanted England youngster.
It must be said, and cannot be disputed… Pep would be a far better manager to play under. He would unleash a Sancho that would be out of this world, and possibly close to the level of Messi.
Standing against the transfer
The club waits for the all-important verdict that awaits them concerning their two-season transfer ban from Champions League football.
If they lose their appeal to the Court of Arbitration for Sport, they could lose some household names and future stars wanting Champions League football.
