Supporters Need to Stay Away from Grounds

One of the contributing factors to the Bundesliga’s successful restart has been the absence of fans from the grounds.

The Premier League cannot afford a scene similar to the one seen in Paris during the PSG-Dortmund Champions League game. Such a gathering would quash the restart plan instantly.

The Premier League needs the fans to listen and adhere to instructions. It does not matter if Liverpool wins their first title in thirty years, or Norwich pull off a miraculous escape, if the fans congregate, everyone’s hard work will have been for nothing.

Manchester United have already written to fans, asking them to stay away, and other clubs need to follow suit. The German fans have wisely kept their distance, and now the English fans need to imitate that example.
