Ben Woodburn – Attacking Midfielder

With Ben Woodburn on loan at Oxford United, it was a good idea sending the Welshman out to gain some needed experience. There is no disputing his talent but him getting game time was needed.

When called upon, Woodburn showed glimpses of what he is capable of but lacked the physicality required in the EPL. At only 20-years-old he still has a potential place in Liverpool’s first team, but until then Liverpool should extend his loan at Oxford United or move him into the Championship.

The winger sustained a fractured foot and his return date is unknown at the moment. Ben Woodburn would just need to be patient before getting his opportunity to shine.

Verdict – loan out for another season
