A look at some of Liverpool’s loanees – Can they make the cut next season

Marko Grujić – Central Midfielder

Jurgen Klopp’s 1st buy after taking over as gaffer at Liverpool. Not many fans knew much about the Serbian but in Klopp they trusted.

After being bought in 2016 from FK Crvena Zvezda he didn’t make much of an impression. He played only a handful of matches for the first team. He was then loaned out to Cardiff City in the 2017/2018 season.

Grujić somewhat did well at Cardiff playing a total of 13 matches. Since then Grujić has been on loan at Hertha BSC, where he has made a total of 42 appearance starting in 40 of those. Grujic is Tall, Physical can make a tackle.

He is also very comfortable on the ball. With that said he would more than likely be a back-up player for either Fabinho or Jordan Henderson but would give depth on the bench or even push for a potential starting place.
