When the English Premier League was suspended, Liverpool had one hand on their first EPL title in 30 years. Three matches were pivotal to their success.

As it stands right now, the Reds have an overwhelming 25 point lead in the Premier League. In 29 league matches, they have lost one and drawn one.

They ran a streak of eighteen straight league wins, tying the record of Man City and also ran an unbeaten streak that lasted over fourteen months.

Whether you are a fan of Jurgen Klopp‘s club or not, watching them tear apart the world’s best football league in every way imaginable was a joy to watch.

Throughout the season, no matter the circumstances they found a way to claim victory when the final whistle blew. With that said, it is difficult to narrow the Reds season to just a few moments.

However, after spending endless hours watching their matches, highlights, and Klopp’s energetic meandering at press conferences while eating fried food and drinking Irish stouts like they were sports drinks, I came up with three key matches that defined their Premier League season.
