Chelsea’s transfer targets fashion them serious title contenders next season

Chelsea means business this summer and if they land every target or at least 50% of them, they will undoubtedly be named one of the title favourites next season.

A team initiating loads of excitement for next season is Chelsea. Since having their transfer ban lifted and missing an entire transfer window in January, it seems the Blues have shaken off the cobwebs and are ready to do proper business.

Lampard has stunned many by how well he has succeeded with Chelsea this season before the abrupt break from Premier League action. Commended for his bravery in using the youth at Stamford Bridge, bringing up eight academy players in the process.

How the good river flows under the Bridge

Lampard has brought the good days back to London for the near and far future. While having the guts to use the boys and turn them into men, he has housed the final Champions League spot for a large part of the season.

It has come under threat in recent weeks just afore the Coronavirus’ rapid spread. Though, he has done it in style. Lacking noticeably in defensive areas, his team has been almost perfect moving forward but at the same time have shown signs they are thin in attacking areas.

Liverpool’s two winning streaks

  • First streak –  8 straight wins
  • Second streak – 18 wins

Leicester’s winning streaks

  • Eight back-to-back wins

In his maiden EPL run, he went on a run of six consecutive victories, collecting 15 points. Only Liverpool and Leicester City went on a better winning run. The Reds bettering it twice in one season with the Foxes just edging them by two games.

Now its time to reinforce the hinges. Tighten the nuts and bolts. Sand down the wood. Tack and weld to strengthen all the metal. Paint a fresh coat, one or two, or even three, just to be sure, and BOOM! A new Stamford Bridge looks the pride of London again.
