Real Madrid is rumoured to be back in for Liverpool winger, Sadio Mane. The man has been linked with a move since the previous summer window, and talks have not cooled down since.

In the midst of all things COVID-19 and the fearful suspension of the Premier League until the April 4, transfer talks will never die and will certainly take centre stage. In this one, we come back to a transfer that’s been milling around since last summer.

One of the Reds’ African star is said to be a top target for 13-times Champions League winners, Los Blancos. For as long as Zinedine Zidane has been a manager for the Spanish club, he has always been an admirer of Mane, expressing his interest in the player publicly.

"His form in the past two campaigns has endeared him even more greatly to Real boss Zinedine Zidane, who is a huge admirer of the Senegalese international. Zizou wants to take Mane to the Bernabeu and it is understood that his representatives have been made aware of the Spaniards’ interest.Los Blancos are confident he can be tempted by a move to Madrid for a new challenge and they plan to make a move to land him when the transfer window opens. Madrid set Real price at £140m

The club from Madrid has come out loud and proud, openly letting Sadio know they coming for him. As per reports, the club believes they can land the Liverpool winger for £140 million during the summer and will make him their marquee signing. However, big rumours surrounding French star, Kylian Mbappe continues to circuit.

Last season it was ex-Chelsea and ex-EPL player Eden Hazard, who let’s face it, has been a large disappointment to the club he signed for. This has kept the Spanish giants in the search for new names.

What would lead Sadio to leave?

The humble guy that is Sadio is not easily persuaded by money or anything flashy. So what in the world would rub the African in the right way in a bid for him to make the switch from one of the biggest clubs in the world to another one of the biggest?

For one, it’s Real Madrid and every footballer’s dream is to go and make a home of the Santiago Bernabéu. Number two, if Liverpool wins the Premier League (even get it handed to them), he would have received every major title as a Red and an EPL player.

The third and last reason, who wouldn’t want to be that player who brings Los Blancos back to their throne of Europe and Spain, as they struggle during Zidane’s second spell as manager. It’s really only the FA Cup and Carabao Cup he hasn’t won with the Anfield side.

Next. Klopp has to stop making excuses. dark

Would it be better to stay with Klopp and the rising Reds? Or is the Bernabéu calling for a new hero?
