The Hare and the Tortoise

It was not a great week for the Tortoise as it didn’t have a full 11 players (only 2 blank GW players but neither Vardy nor Rico played). It capped out at 30 points with captain fail and only returns from DCL and Aurier.

The Hare did a little better with 44 points but a -4 as it has to sell off Man City assets (one of which it has since repurchased)! The double Burnley defence paid off along with Fernandes and DCL. However, it also failed to get a full 11 out with Gomez and Vardy failing to get any game time. It has already moved in anticipation of the DGW, selling Ings and possibly injured KDB to fund Aubameyang and Mahrez.

TTF Mini-League

We have a new leader with Abiodun Abiona jumping from 3rd to 1st thanks to the other teams having a particularly poor week. Abiodun’s team Laurels forgot about the BGW but had Jimenez and Doherty come off the bench for a massive 19 points, plus the double Burnley defence to help push up to 45 points.

The most points this week was Tamizh Maniam’s team the Reds, who managed 66! They captained DCL as a differential and therefore did better than most, as well as getting 4 clean sheets and points from Fernandes and Jimenez. An excellent score in a terrible week!
