UEFA: May no longer the date for finals of all European competitions
It comes as no surprise that the footballing heads of UEFA agree to push back the Champions League finals to a later date, with no rearranged dates set.
It was sadly announced that the Champions League final, along with the Europa League final, and Women’s Champions League final will too be pushed backed to an undetermined date.
As the situation rapidly gets worse, lockdowns get issued across the globe by individual government, and certain locations call for evacuations, there is just not enough positives showing the original dates set in May will be suitable for all of the European finals taking place.

Will domestic leagues make their return date
With all this going on, it cast major doubt that we would see the return of all the domestic leagues anytime soon, or in the next month or so. If May is already an unrealistic date for Europe to set their final showdown, how is the June 30 not a bit premature for the EPL reboot?
The Bundesliga has set a time frame of April 2, which seems even more bizarre. No other return dates have been mentioned for La Liga nor the Serie A, and other leagues across Europe. The Spanish government has only recently paused La Liga, emphasising on “postponed until further notice”.
With all the football left still to play, one wonders how they will solve the issue of cramming so many fixtures together in a short space of time. Will we see everything played at once? Or are we going to see the leagues finished first, the domestic cups, and then a European finish?
Are we going to be on time to start the next campaign? So many answered needed in these crazy days.
