Another hot cake that is in high demand across Europe is Timo Werner. Since making plans for an RB Leipzig exit, a host of Europe’s elite are keen on the German’s capture.

Timo Werner is one of three young forwards that top teams in Europe want to acquire the signature of. He, along with Jadon Sancho and Erling Braut Haland are top, top targets for always competing teams.

The latter man, Haland, freshly making the switch from Austria to Germany, excludes him from the list of available in the meantime. This leaves Sancho and Timo the biggest transfers targets for the summer.

The striker (Timo) from RB has made his ambitions to depart public, and both he and the club know a transfer will occur come the summer.

The worry for Leipzig is that they do not recoup the true value of the player who is destined for world-class status. They have a buyout clause of £51 million (€61,43m; $66,57m) attached to the sale of the Timo, giving them a bit of power over the transfer.

This subsequent to the contract extension signed in August 2019. Werner was meant to leave on a free during the summer of 2020, but the club felt it would only be fair to accumulate some funds for the outgoing player.

"Timo Werner extends his contract with RB Leipzig until 2023. Bayern Munich target Timo Werner has officially extended his contract with RB Leipzig until 2023. With all being said, RB could probably inflate their asking price by many millions, likely creating a bidding war among the possible Timo suitors. It will count in their favour to play the stubborn character and wait for the right price.
