There was a major spike in results plus performances under the guidance of Nigel Pearson. But that party is long over again.

It has all changed now after not winning a game in their last three EPL outings. Under the Englishman they were six games without a loss, winning three back-to-back, and gathering 14 points over that run of games.

They have been worse for wear on the road though. They have lost seven on the road. Their 39 goals conceded gives us an insight into why they’ve struggled away from home.

Adding to this, they have only won this Brighton clash once while visiting the American Express Community Stadium. We are in for an exciting relegation battle, which is now a civil war amongst most of the teams in the Premier League this season.
