Premier League: Best of the busy afternoon slot – A relegation battle is only fitting
David Moyes welcomes a familiar face, Carlo Ancelotti to the Olympic Stadium. Two teams who have recently changed hands at the top meet for one exciting clash.
Everton’s had some extremely low moments and some extremely high ones in return. The highest of them all has been the appointment of their manager, Carlo Ancelotti. Their lowest point was when they got put to the side by a bunch of Liverpool youngsters.
But since then, they have taken a few steps forward, playing some better football on the pitch. West Ham, on the other hand, could argue they were robbed last week. So they will be looking to bounce back after a decent start to life under Moyes.
Another fixture that’s hard to decide with home and away form showing just how interesting it is. The Hammers have hit miss six times at home, only winning three games. Everton has also been remarkably ineffective on the trot.
They have lost seven of the 11 games on the road. Another example of why changes needed to be made in their respective clubs.
